Copper rollers
Copper rollers, with their smooth, tight copper grain structure, put up a hardbr front
to abrasive wear in ink systems.

• Our high hardness rating of 200+ Vickers vs. soft, porous copper means longer wear life.
• Oleophilic surface has natural affinity for ink, which reduces stripping and ghosting.
• Superior structure and thickness offer longevity and lower operating costs.
• Fine surface finish results in less friction, minimal generation of heat, more even distribution
• of ink and longer life expectancy.
• Unlike nylon and hard rubber, minor corrections to abrasions can be made to copper rollers
while on the press.
• A good choice for the quality conscious printer.

Anilox Roller
In narrow web flexographic printing today with machines capable of such fast speeds; concentricity
and consistency can be maintained reducing the variables, which allows the printer a greater
selection of substrates and ink types for their particular applications. With all these changes,
the narrow web printer is still able to perform with a minimal number of Anilox Roll screen counts.
The following can be used as a guide to roll selection in the industry today.

RISLAN Rollers
These cost-efficient rollers carry a smooth, consistent film of ink to the cylinder. A unique
combination of properties adds up to dependable performance.

• Outstanding dimensional stability means longer life.
• Excellent chemical resistance wards off corrosion attack.
• Elastic memory bounces back for top performance.
• Low friction coefficient produces a more even distribution of ink.
• Another choice for the cost conscious printer.

Chrome rollers
These hydrophilic fountain rollers carry water like no others. No matter what type of operation,
press usage or budget you have, there’s a chrome roller for you.

• Thick chrome outperforms our competitors to ensure longer life.
• Ultra-mirrored, micro-finished surface resists ink build up and feedback.
• Natural surface attraction to fountain solution produces top quality signatures throughout the run.
• Easy cleaning increases roller life .
• Precise water carrying capabilities lessen friction and drag on your dampening system motors for
increased cost savings.
• Repairing and refurbishing the chrome roller costs less than ceramic or other style rollers.
• A good choice for the cost conscious shop.

REPAIR & REFURBISHING

Plate Cylinder Repair, Blanket Cylinder Repair, Impression Cylinder Repair.Cylinders, along with their
journals, can be refurbished or repaired by a selection of thermal bond coatings that provide fast
turn-around. These coatings do not have the durability of chrome, but are available for the
economy-minded printer.

• All cylinders are refurbished to the original press specifications.
• Replacement parts, or the repair of bearer rings, reel rods and the accompanying hardware, such as
ratchets, gears and eccentrics, are also available.
• Written inspections of incoming as well as outgoing products are available for our customers.
• Cylinders can be repaired “on press” or rebuilt in our shop.
• Customized electroplated composites can be tailored to fit your press room environment.
• Finest quality materials meet or exceed original equipment specifications.
• Environmentally controlled facility produces the highest quality parts.
• Roller repair center is a full-time operation dedicated to the graphics industry.
